My Daughter’s First Internet Word

by Will Bond - February 15, 2008 / 10:17am

Over the past month or so our fifteen-month-old daughter, Audrey, has been picking up words like crazy. Pretty much anything you say she will try to repeat. She is really good about context and can identify many of the items in our home along with lots of animals and other things.

Last night my wife, Jess, and I were talking about looking for a co-sleeper for our upcoming baby. During the conversation Jess mentioned googling co-sleepers. Not a second later Audrey blurted out “g’ggle”. At our coaxing she repeated herself a few times and received some enthusiastic praise from her proud parents. Her first internet word!

She's just like her father: only hours ago she called and chastised me for my improper use of SVN.

Congratulations to Audrey, but kids today have to easy. Chloe's first internet word was "Alta Vista" followed by "Exquisite Replica Rolex"

You're not kidding, Check out this email Chloe sent me yesterday:

"HAXOR PWNED!"

It was only after I opened it that I realized my C drive had been formatted.
