I really want a webmail that works for me. I have spent alot of time looking, but I still can't find it. Email is supposed to make my life easier, not harder. I don't want my email downloaded to a computer at home so I can't access it at work or vice versa. I want to be able to check all five of my email accounts in once place with one click. And, I believe, if you already have an AIM screenname, you basically already have free AIM webmail.
Oh, did I mention that AOL also allows you to use your favorite IMAP mail client to ALSO get at your mail, too?
Granted, AOL's webmail doesn't have all the feature's you need, but being able to IMAP to your mail may make up for it. i.e., I'd normally use the IMAP client (Thunderbird) that has message filters, check other POP3 accounts, send mail from other accounts, etc. and use the webmail interface when I'm travelling and don't have my IMAP client handy.
