Omit Pages
I'm excited. iMarc just started building a new site for a new client. Starting a new project is usually enough fun in itself, but the reason for my extreme gaiety is because of this site's truly concise sitemap.

PS Quickie! Your Own Crazy Movie Poster
Hooooo!
So anyone who knows me knows that I love movies. That said, I recently was overcome with inspiration when I saw the new Pirates of the Caribbean Posters. They are pretty sick. When you look at the POTC Posters (That will be Pirates of the Caribbean and NOT Passion of the Christ from here forth....you know you were thinking it!) they all follow a general theme: A collage of imagery along the bottom, a bunch of enormously large heads along the top, and the classic parchment paper logo with a title slapped across it. Oh and some hot chick but we wont be using one of those for this. Boo.

After staring at the posters a few minutes, I decided to see if the movie poster could be achieved with normal everyday photos you'd find out on the "internets".

Power Mac G5 Reliability Report
Read Power Mac G5 Reliability at MacInTouch.com.
From the articles closing:
With an overall failure rate of 23%, a quarter of which occur outside of Apple's 1-year warranty, and an average of 1.29 repairs per affected unit implying repeat problems, Power Macs are neither cheap for Apple to service after the sale, nor cheap for buyers. Power comes at a cost.
Wow! Nice work Rob.
Rob has also published excellent reports on iPod Reliability and Apple Laptop Reliability

Highlighting: A Neat Idea
Essentially all that happened was:
- the site grabbed the referring URL
- saw "Google"
- parsed the query string
w3 0wn j00.
Looking carefully around, he stands at guard while he picks up his real weapon. Turns, and again without a sound, sword at the ready, he positions himself at the border between the two great nations of iMarc.
And then he strikes.
Wikipedia Contrails
The Scariest Thing at iMarc
Every time iMarc wins a job, Nils will sneak up stairs and before saying anything reaches for the "New Business Air Horn." He just snuck around the corner and blasted it in our room.
Now we're not in the tiniest of spaces, but man that thing can echo. Also, it's three times as bad since you never see it coming. It's a ludicrous experience. Everyone jumps, completely startled and frightened all at the same time, the dogs run for cover, and Nils can be heard laughing.
You know that scene in Dogma where Metatron (played by Alan Rickman) tells people to cover their ears because the meer sound of God's voice (played by Alanis Morissette) will make your heart explode? It's like that, but ten times worse.
Instead, we should get confetti and balloons that fall from the sky. Maybe we could give everyone a little party blower-horn thing and they could take it out for the glorious occasions. We should just go to the bar for a beer.
I love new projects, but I fear the mighty air horn.

List Items: The Tables of Web 2.0?
This week's A List Apart is one of the best yet. Three great articles, includeing one by a guy who plays the bouzouki. Nice job guys.
But wait a minute... in Pretty Accessible Forms, did the author just freak out about puting form data in tables because forms aren't tabular data?
