USC Trojans vs Oregon State Beavers

The showdown is finally here. USC Trojan's vs. Oregon Beavers. We showed up today in full regalia to support our teams. (WE being myself and Karin).
Although I didn't actually attend USC, my family has a history of Trojan fanaticism due to my brother in law's reign as Pete Carroll's right hand man. Championship bowls and Heisman Winners are just part of our heritage. We don't want to rub it in the face of our opponent..its just simply a fact.
On the other hand, Karin is a full-fledged alumnus and card carrying member of the great Oregon Beaver Nation. She even has season tickets to Reser Stadium!
During the week leading up to tonight's college football event, Karin thought it relevant to plant Beaver paraphernalia all around my desk. I guess this was her attempt to stir the pot. It was sort of like the mouse that instigates the cat. After attempts to ignore the frequent teasing, I agreed to an all out wager on tonight's game. The prize - a top shelf margarita. The bet of course is based on a win; however, I need to give Karin Jimmy the Greeks' spread which is 25 POINTS. That's ok...because I feel bad enough that she has to identify with a BEAVER.
In Oregon State's defense, back in 2006 the Beavers did beat the Men of Troy 33-31 ending a 38 game win streak for USC..but we don't have to get into the fine points of wins and losses now do we? When the coin is tossed and the game is in play we'll both be rooting for our teams and hoping for a win (or in my case a pulverizing).
