Financial Executives Institute taps iMarc for new site design

Boston, Massachusetts – Financial Executives International, Boston Chapter (FEI, Boston Chapter), in partnership with iMarc, a web strategy and development firm specializing in interactive web sites, has recently undertaken the development of a new web site featuring online event listings management, secure online registration, and private members-only web content and document delivery. The new site will significantly improve the delivery of key member benefits while lowering costs and improving the quality of service. The new site is scheduled to launch in early September, 2003.

The Boston Chapter of Financial Executives International is the largest chapter of the premier professional association for senior and middle-level corporate financial managers. Dating back to 1934, the chapter has been a dynamic force in achieving the visions of the organization.

Financial Executives International was founded in 1931 as the Controllers Institute of America. The expansion of responsibilities of financial executives into policy-making areas led the organization to change it's name to Financial Executives Institute in 1962. As the global economy developed, FEI was the driving force in forming the International Association of Financial Executives Institutes in 1969. FEI proactively helped design the CFO Act, and has a history of supporting legislation that enhances the business climate. In total FEI has 86 chapters across the U.S. and Canada.
