Nils Menten

Job Description

I lead the scope and strategy segments of our engagements, and manage the financial and administrative aspects of running the company.

Birthplace

New York, New York

Working at iMarc since

November, 1997

What makes iMarc different to you?

My partners and I are committed to creating and maintaining a company that values its customers and employees equally, and conducts its business honestly and ethically.

We are always striving for improvement in every aspect of the operation of the business, so we can continue to deliver an excellent value to our customers on every project we take on.

We have been careful to hire talented, dedicated people that embrace these same values, and they are the guts of our company. I am committed to their growth and well being and I value their contributions a great deal.

We also seem to attract customers that appreciate our work and value our contributions to their organizations. If you happen to be one of them, thank you again. We appreciate you a great deal as well.

Interests & Hobbies

Hiking and skiing (both kinds!), motorcycles, travel, music, photography, my excellent dogs Calvin and Logan.

Turn Ons

Wild places and new experiences, twisty clean asphalt and low-end torque, smart funny people that live what they love. Fresh powder and early morning glass on the lake, red wine, clean white sheets, my friends, my family, my home.

Turn Offs

Lying, whining, ignorance, racism.

Favorite Music

I like it all, but currently I seem to be listening to a lot of Alison Krauss, French lounge music and Trip Hop, including Thievery Corporation, Dzhian & Kamien, etc. I am also really digging the old-school alternative from the early 80s on XM radio (Fred on 44, baby).

Favorite Movies

The Big Blue, Platoon, Dr. Zhivago, Pulp Fiction, Life is Beautiful, La Femme Nikita, To Live and Die in LA

Favorite Websites

superbikeplanet.com, The Onion, lonelyplanet.com, macintouch.com, boston.com, amazon.com, ebay.com, trails.com, geocaching.com, snopes.com

After work you'll find me

Bobbing around the lake I live on in my boat in the summer, spending time with my family or riding my motorcycle.
